What can’t evidence show? We will discuss how to write about lives that appear only through fragments, gossip, or so-called absence, and how such moments invite new forms of scholarly attention. 

The workshop is open to all interested participants, who can register for the plenary and group discussions via the online registration form below. Master’s, Research Master’s, PhD students, and early career scholars who wish to present are invited to submit a 100-word abstract by email to w.g.s.j.isenia@uva.nl.  Four speakers will be selected to give 30-minute presentations.
